Total Transportation is awarded Partner Carrier of the Year Award for 5th Year in a Row by Clear Lane Freight Systems
For the fifth year in a row, Total Transportation & Distribution was awarded the Partner Carrier of the Year award by Clear Lane Freight Systems. The award recognizes Total Transportation’s level of service, quality and on-time responsiveness as well as its information technology. Clear Lane Freight uses Total Transportation & Distribution for LTL trucking, shipping, pickup and drop-off routes throughout Southern California.
Receiving this award is a big honor that recognizes the hard work and dedication of everyone at Total Transportation. “Total has a very special thing that most companies in our industry don’t have,” said Ingi Torfason, Co-Founder of Clear Lane Freight along with Tom Nagel. “They are always willing to go that extra mile to take good care of the customer and our partnership with them has contributed significantly to our rapid growth over the past six years.”
When Clear Lane Freight System was launched seven years ago, Total Transportation was their first partner. The goal was to fill a need for economical long-haul LTL service. Ingi and Tom have the unique experience of having worked in both operations, quality and sales management for major carriers for decades. Their insight into the industry, skills learned, and relationships built during their careers laid the foundation for Clear Lane. The partnership between Total Transportation and Clear Lane Freight Systems has allowed Clear Lane to grow their operations in the important Southern California market, according to Ingi Torfason.
Total Transportation & Distribution, Inc. began in 1989 to provide Southern California with premier integrated transportation and distribution solutions. Total Transportation is a provider of both TL (truck load) and LTL (less than truck load) freight services and leads the industry in same day and next day delivery with efficiency and reliability with 99.97 percent on-time delivery. Through a commitment to quality and service, the company that was once a fleet size of just two has evolved into managing more than 100 vehicles and is the preferred handler of transportation demands for large packaging supply manufacturers due to its track record of dependability and success.
Our locations in Southern California offer great advantages as we are strategically positioned not far from the Port of Long Beach and geographically located in between Los Angeles County and Orange County. Total’s warehouse and fulfillment center can store and take computerized inventory of clients’ products. The company recently implemented a state-of-the-art transportation and warehouse management system that allows its clients to access inventory and shipment tracking information online 24/7.
Total Transportation is honored by this recognition and looks forward to continuing to provide quality service to the Southern California market.
