Good things take time…..Total started in 1989 on the day that truck driver Ruben Dominguez set his sights on delivering more than just products, but SERVICE as well. He made sure he listened to his customers’ needs, delivered on time, and when the going got tough, he stood by his customers to come up with solutions. This was Ruben’s winning strategy and he made it a personal choice to go the extra mile. No textbook created this business—it was simply a genuine gesture of entrepreneurship and persistence.
Over the years, Total Transportation and Distribution and its sister company, Westset Logistics, grew to provide a comprehensive suite of services to its customers. We take a strategic approach to create competitive solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Through hard work and dedication, the company that started at a fleet size of just two has evolved to managing over 90 trucks and is the preferred handler of transportation demands for large packaging supply manufacturers due to its track record of dependability and success. With our state-of-the-art Transportation Management System (TMS), we provide full real-time booking, tracking, and payment visibility for our customers. Our locations in Southern California offer great advantages, as we are strategically positioned not too far from the Port of Long Beach and geographically located in between Los Angeles County and Orange County.
